लुंगी एक पारंपरिक भारतीय पोशाक है जिसे पुरुषों द्वारा परिधान के चारों ओर लपेटा जाता है। आम तौर पर दो प्रकार की फेफड़े, खुली लुंगी और सिले हुए फेफड़े होते हैं। खुली लुंगी कॉटन या सिल्क की एक सादी चादर होती है, जबकि टाँके वाली इसकी दोनों खुली हुई टाँके एक साथ होती हैं 

Lungi is a traditional Indian dress which is draped around the garment by men. There are generally two types of lunges, open lunges and stitched lunges. An open lungi is a plain sheet of cotton or silk, while a stitched lungi has both open stitches together.

जो एक संरचना के साथ एक ट्यूब बनाती हैं। सादे सफेद लुंगी वास्तव में एक मुंडू है और इसे औपचारिक अवसरों के दौरान पहना जा सकता है और साथ ही साथ मुंडुस अक्सर कसावा के रूप में जाना जाने वाला सुनहरा कढ़ाई धारण करते हैं।

Which form a tube with a structure. The plain white lungi is actually a mundu and can be worn during formal occasions as well as mundus often wearing a golden embroidery known as cassava.

दक्षिण भारत में भारत का यह पारंपरिक पोशाक सबसे अधिक पहना जाता है। वे रेशम या कपास के बने होते हैं और गर्मी की गर्मी से अच्छा राहत होती है। लुंगी लगभग किसी भी अवसर के लिए दक्षिण भारत में पुरुषों द्वारा पहने जाते हैं।

 This traditional Indian dress is most commonly worn in South India. They are made of silk or cotton and are a good respite from the summer heat. Lungis are worn by men in South India for almost any occasion.

प्रसिद्ध भांगड़ा नृत्य में भी लुंगी में नर्तकियों का सौँदर्य देखते ही बनता है। आजकल तो दूसरे देशों में भी जैसे बांग्लादेश, ब्रुनेई, इंडोनेशिया, मलेशिया, म्यांमार और सोमालिया के लोग भी गर्मी और आर्द्रता के कारण लुंगी में अपना विश्वास दिखा रहे हैं।

Even in the famous Bhangra dance, the beauty of the dancers in the lungi is made on sight. Nowadays people of other countries like Bangladesh, Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar and Somalia are also showing their faith in lungi due to the heat and humidity.
