Salwar & Kurti सलवार एवं कुर्ती

उत्तम वस्त्र  जिस तरह पुरुष कुर्ता और पायजामा पहनते हैं उसी तरह महिलाएं कुर्ती और पायजामे (सलवार) के साथ चुनरी, ओढ़नी या दुपट्टा भी पहनती हैं। यह महिलाओं के लिए अलग शैली में निर्मित होता है। पंजाबी शैली, उत्तर भारतीय शैली (स्टाइल) आदि में निर्मित सलवार-कुर्ती महिलाओं के लिए सबसे उत्तम वस्त्र माना गया है।

Just as men wear kurta and pyjama, similarly women wear chunari, odhani or dupatta along with kurti and pajama (salwar). It is manufactured in different style for women. Made in Punjabi style, North Indian style etc. Salwar-kurti is considered to be the best wear for women.

जम्मू और कश्मीर में ठंड अधिक होने के कारण वहां की महिलाएं व पुरुष 'पैरहन' पहनते हैं। यह पोशाक पहाड़ी इलाकों में काफी प्रसिद्ध है। कश्मीर की महिलाएं सिर को दुपट्टे से ढंककर पीछे से बांध लेती हैं। हालांकि वर्तमान में कट्टरपंथ के चलते वहां कश्मीरियत को छोड़कर अरबी संस्कृति के पहनावे पर जोर दिया जा रहा है। 'सलवार' नामक चौड़े पायजामे से पैर ढंका रहता था जबकि ऊपरी हिस्से में पूरे बांह की कमीज पहनी जाती थी।

Due to the extreme cold in Jammu and Kashmir, the women and men of Jammu and Kashmir wear 'Parhan'. This dress is quite famous in the hilly areas. The women of Kashmir cover the head with a dupatta and tie it from behind. However, at present, due to radicalization, emphasis is being laid on the clothes of Arabic culture except Kashmiriyat. The leg was covered with wide pajamas called 'salwar' while a full sleeve shirt was worn in the upper part.

 इसके ऊपर एक छोटा अंगरखा कोट होता था जिसे सदरी कहते थे। बाहरी लबादे को चोगा कहते थे, जो नीचे टखनों तक आता था। इसकी एक लंबी, ढीली आस्तीन होती थी और एक कमरबंद होता था। सर की पोशाक एक छोटे कपड़े से ढंकी छोटी चुस्त टोपी से बनी होती थी। इसी से पगड़ी बनती थी। 

On top of this was a short tunic coat called Sadri. The outer cloak was called a cloak, which came down to the ankles. It had long, loose sleeves and a waistband. The head dress was made of a small tight cap covered with a small cloth. This is how the turban was made.

कुर्ता और पायजामा पहनने से शरीर के चारों ओर दीर्घ वृत्ताकार (दीप की ज्योति समान) कवच निर्मित होता है। इसे पहनने से व्यक्ति आरामदायक अनुभव (कंफर्ट फिल) करता है। सेहत, शांति और मन की प्रसन्नता के लिए यह सबसे उत्तम वस्त्र है। कुर्ते सूती, ऊनी और रेशमी सभी तरह के सामग्रियों में मिलते हैं। कुर्ते के कई परिवर्धित रूप हैं जिनमें शेरवानी, पठानी सूट इत्यादि प्रचलित हैं।

Wearing kurta and pajama creates an elliptical (like the flame of a lamp) armor around the body. Wearing it makes a person feel comfortable. It is the best garment for health, peace and happiness of mind. Kurtas are available in all types of materials like cotton, woolen and silk. There are many modified forms of kurta in which Sherwani, Pathani suit etc. are prevalent.

 

सलवार कमीज परिधान अनिवार्य रूप से सलवार से बना तीन टुकड़े का होता है, जो नीचे या पैंट की पोशाक होती है। फिर कमेज़ है, जो सबसे ऊपर या कुर्ता और अंत में दुपट्टा या दुपट्टा है। सलवार कमीज आम तौर पर लंबा होता है और घुटनों से नीचे जाता है और इसके दोनों तरफ दो स्लिट होते हैं। सलवार टखनों पर भड़की हुई और संकीर्ण होती है और महिलाएं आमतौर पर इसके साथ दुपट्टा या दुपट्टा पहनती हैं।

The salwar kameez garment is essentially a three piece dress made of salwar as a bottom or pant dress. Then there is the kameez, which is the top or kurta and finally the dupatta or dupatta. Salwar kameez is generally long and goes below the knees and has two slits on both the sides. The salwar is flared and narrow at the ankles and women usually wear a dupatta or dupatta with it.

सलवार कमीज की अपनी विभिन्न शैलियाँ हैं जैसे चूड़ीदार कुर्ता और अनारकली। इस प्रकार के परिधान पंजाब और हरियाणा राज्यों के पारंपरिक भारतीय परिधान हैं, लेकिन अब पूरे देश में फैल गए हैं।

Salwar kameez has its different styles like churidar kurta and anarkali. These types of garments are the traditional Indian wear of the states of Punjab and Haryana, but have now spread all over the country.

सलवार कमीज भारत में सबसे प्रसिद्ध और सामान्यतः देखा जाने वाला पारंपरिक वस्त्रों में से एक है। सलवार कमीज कई रूपों में आता है और किसी भी अवसर के लिए पहना जा सकता है। ये दक्षिण एशिया और मध्य एशिया के पुरुषों और महिलाओं का पारंपरिक परिधान है। 

Salwar Kameez is one of the most famous and commonly seen traditional wear in India. Salwar kameez comes in many forms and can be worn for any occasion. It is the traditional dress of men and women of South Asia and Central Asia.

यह मुख्य रूप से हिमाचल प्रदेश, पंजाब और हरियाणा के लोगों की पारंपरिक पोशाक थी लेकिन अब इसको देश के बाकी हिस्सों में भी देखा जाता है और ये यहाँ खूब ट्रेंड में है। यह हर अवसर के लिए अनुकूल सबसे सुविधाजनक और बहुत स्टाइलिश भारतीय वस्त्र है।

It was mainly the traditional dress of the people of Himachal Pradesh, Punjab and Haryana but now it is also seen in the rest of the country and it is very much in trend here. It is the most convenient and very stylish Indian wear suited for every occasion.
