शेरवानी पुरुषों द्वारा औपचारिक अवसरों पर पहना जाने वाला एक पारंपरिक पोशाक है। यह एक घुटने की लम्बाई वाले जैकेट या कोट की तरह एक पोशाक है जो ज्यादातर उत्तरी भारत के पुरुषों द्वारा पहना जाता है। 

Sherwani is a traditional dress worn by men on formal occasions. It is a knee-length jacket or coat-like dress mostly worn by men from northern India.

लेकिन अब कई अन्य लोग इसके अनुसरण कर रहे हैं। इसके एक अन्य रूप में इसकी लम्बाई घुटने तक होती है जिसको जैकेट अचकन कहते हैं। यह विवाह समारोहों में पहना जाने वाला एक लोकप्रिय पोशाक है।

But now many others are following it. In another form, its length is up to the knee, which is called jacket achkan. It is a popular dress worn in marriage ceremonies.

शेरवानी एक लंबा कोट या जैकेट है जो आमतौर पर जैकेट की लंबाई के माध्यम से उजागर बटन को स्पोर्ट करता है। जैकेट की लंबाई आमतौर पर घुटनों के ठीक नीचे होती है और इसे नेहरू कॉलर के नाम से जाना जाता है, जो मूल रूप से एक कॉलर होता है।

 Sherwani is a long coat or jacket that usually sports exposed buttons through the length of the jacket. The length of the jacket is usually just below the knees and is known as the Nehru collar, which is basically a collar.

यह तंग फिट पैंट के साथ पहना जाता है जिसे चूड़ीदार के रूप में जाना जाता है। इस तरह की पारंपरिक भारतीय पोशाक आमतौर पर दूल्हे द्वारा शादी समारोहों के दौरान पहनी जाती है और क्रीम, हल्के हाथी दांत या सोने के रंग की होती है।

It is worn with tight fit pants known as churidar. This type of traditional Indian dress is usually worn by the groom during wedding ceremonies and is cream, light ivory or gold in colour.

पारंपरिक भारतीय वेशभूषा की विविधता बहुत अधिक है, और एक व्यक्ति की जातीयता, क्षेत्र, धर्म और उप-संस्कृति को सुशोभित करती है।
